March 01 Rush Limbagh, Shut Your Pie HoleRush, shut up.
I'm sick of you, because you're a damaging voice.
For you to hope that Obama fails, to me that is just pure hatred.
Give all that $$ you make spouting shit like this to people like me if you bitch about spnd, spend, spend.
I call your fat ass out because of the fact that you want our country to fail in saying that Obama should fail.
Fuck you.
You're not American.
I used to be a Republican, and went Independant I'm giving Obama a chance.
I'm tired of party politics.
Just shut up and listen to everyone's view but you own. WANTING to have an admisistration to fail is just pure hatred.
Think of your words, sir on how the rest of the world thinks.
You're such a fucking dumbass.
Scott February 28 Paul HarveyThis is Paul Harvey.
Standby for news!
Today, it saddens me that one of the greatest journalists of all time passed away. I was not alive when Edward R. Murrrow was alive to tell me about McCarthyism. I was not alive when Walter Cronkite announced the death of our President, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, our 35th President of the United States.
I was not alive when Martin Luther King, Jr. was brutally murdered in Memphis, Tennessee. I was just a child when our 37th President, Robert Milhouse Nixon was impeached, due to what is now known as Watergate.
You know, when the Iran hostage situation occurred, it was the first time I got active in politics. I was only eight when our 40th President, Ronald WIlson Reagan was elected. This past election cycle, a black man was elected President. Who would think that an actor and a black man be elected President in my lifetime? President Obama faces many of the challenges that Ronald Reagan did in his first term.
Now for the rest of the story.
It was always a treat to listen to Paul Harvey, because he always brought some incredible insight on what was going on in the world, good or bad. He had a sense of being clinical and honest with the news of the day, but he never, ever, in the years that I listened to him was biased, or raised his voice on any news story. He just told us like it was.
And now that is the rest of the story.
This is Paul Harvey.
Good day! August 24 Ok, This Is Just StupidIt seems that some morons in Denver don't care for Fox News. Fine. I'm down with that. It's their right.
But when a reporter is asking people what they are protesting and why, it's a great opportunity for the morons there to bring their cause to the public.
But these morons essentially started a chant "F*ck Fox News!" repeatedly, and waving the middle finger at the camera. There was zero time for the censors, and feed was cut off after about ten seconds.
The reporter repeatedly said it was freedom of speech question he was asking.
Freedom of speech. Kind of ironic that just because these morons don't like Fox News they protested their presence on the spot. Fine. I'm down with that as well.
My problem is these zealots willingly used offensive language and gestures on a national broadcast. Basically, you morons did more damage to your cause by doing that. I'm not a fan of reporters myself, but they do their job. Let them do their jobs.
If I hear of Republican zealots do this in St. Paul to MSNBC or CNN, I'll be just as critical.
Because, it's not right. This is epic fail of not using your brain.
Now I'm going to eat my Gummi Bears in peace. June 03 I said NOI watched the feeds of several trips that the Clintons here in South Dakota over the last few weeks, and last night (if I would have been undecided), the arrogance would have done it for me.
Obviously, you know whom I voted for.
May 23 Hillary Clinton In BrookingsI wish to disclaim that I did not go to Billary, because as I was riding home from Wal-Mart, it was reported that the security was very tight on the South Dakota State University campus.
Basically, I would have walked quite some way, since I do no know the campus at all. But I watched a web feed, and I have gathered my thoughts.
First off, her opening statements to me were extremely contradictory. She said that South Dakota's voice was being ignored, and that we were being left out of the process by those who wanted the primaries finished early. Now South Dakota matters.
It matters now, eh?
She actually gave a rather decent oratory, but the question and answer portion is why I wished I would have attended:
I would have asked her to explain her comments about RFK.
The exploitation (my words) is of a woman who has been waiting for almost a year for social security benefits, will be used in campaigns.
She used American Girl from Tom Petty as a closing.
I'm offended by her carpet-baggering.
May 22 Hillary Clinton In Brookngs TomorrowAs you probably know by now, I am not a fan of Hillary Clinton. She's got a town hall meeting here in Brookings tomorrow night, and I plan to go. I'll be straight up honest: I'm going to it for the fact that I can one day say, "I saw the first ever woman to seriously run for President." Like the University of South Dakota Coyote in the middle of South Dakota State University Jackrabbit country, I'm in enemy territory.
I'll admit that she may say something that I may agree with. But, she simply is not as Presidential like her husband was (sans scandal stuff).
As a historian, here's a banquet of thought:
1). Back in 1992, when Bill Clinton ran, he was the upstart, just like Barack Obama. I'll freely admit, I voted for him in that election. But would (or could) that Bill Clinton be scrutinized like the upstart Obama?
2). Bill Clintons "I didn't inhale" defense was thrown right back at Bush in 2000 with his use of much harder drugs. We forgave Bill Clinton for that. We rewarded him with a landslide second term against an established Senator, even with mounds of contraversary surrounding his first term. Right or wrong on how Florida got handled in 2000, President Bush got elected.
3). In my opinion, Hillary is trying to change the rules that she never objected to long before the "official" run for President began this year. The Democratic National Committee warned both Florida and Michigan on the penalties of leapfrogging the process they had placed months before. Now that's a total mess. The second glaring one is when Nevada had their caucuses.
4). With Nevada, the state DNC allowed that state to have caucuses for the 24/7 workers of the casinos to caucus while at work. This was after the largest working union in Nevada backed Barack Obama. The Nevada State Supreme Court denied the Clintons on this.
In some ways, Hillary does have the experience to do things. My problem is, she has too much empty promises and baggage from her husband's administration.
But..she, like Al Gore got sucker punched. Except she got suckerpunched by someone who was more like how her husband was just as charismatic when he won in 1992. Unlike 1992, we have the internet to research a person by viewing videos, going to blogs. We had 24/7 news, but not internet feeds where one could actually view YouTube.
I'll just react to Billary. May 16 Reaction to Barack Obama in South DakotaFormer Senator and Presidential candidate George McGovern gave a nice speech, and former Senator and Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle gave impressive speeches tonight to introduce Democratic Presidential hopeful (and in my personal opinion, the nominee) Barack Obama.
June 3rd, I am voting for him.
I'm going to break down portions of the rally I watched from the Sioux Falls Arena via the live feed I witnessed.
When Mitchell, South Dakota native George McGovern spoke, I felt it was like a commencement speech. Very South Dakotan, if you will.
I've never cared for Tom Daschle, but I've discovered that he is a very good speaker after his introduction speech.
Now to Mr. Obama.
He stumbled at first, saying Sioux City (IOWA) instead of Sioux Falls, but that does happen alot. I've seen that gaffe in Sioux City, so no big deal to me. However, i felt he was extremely engaging. As I watched the feed, he really hit home on the issues very well for the most part.
Energy. Healthcare. Education. Taxation. Iraq.
He touched those.
Nuff said. Barack Obama in South DakotaBarack Obama was in Watertown today (approximately 40 miles north of me), and in less than an hour from now, he will speak in Sioux Falls (about 50 miles south). If interested, www.keloland.com, and www.ksfy.com will have streaming video of the event for those interested.
Who would have thought that South Dakota would become a battleground state for the Democrats? To me, it's about time that we're considered somewhat important to either party. I'm not ashamed to say that I switched to being Democrat, because being an independant, I was barred from voting. I got cheated the last two primaries (2000 and 2004) when it "mattered".
Yes kiddies, I will be a swing voter. I'm the type that can make or break a candidate. Screw Rush Limbaugh by telling Republicans to vote, etc. I'm voting my conscious both now, and eventually in the fall.
Screw those dumbasses at Air America.
I do what I want. March 21 The Florida and Michigan MessI was a registered Republican in 2000, and a staunch supporter of Senator John McCain. That same year, South Dakota's "traditional" spot of early to mid-February (usually before Super Tuesday) was swapped with California's "traditional" early June slot. Both parties agreed to it, and neither then-Governor George W. Bush nor then Vice-President Al Gore, Jr. complained, because they were the favorite sons of their respective parties. They also happened to win California. By the time little South Dakota could vote, the primary season was long done. Frankly, I was pissed off, because MY VOTE DID NOT COUNT IN THE PRIMARIES. Hence, I did not vote in the general election.
Eight years later, Florida is in the center of controversy once again. However, now DNC Chairman Howard "YEEE-HAW!!!" Dean did it again by punishing Florida and Michigan by stripping ALL delegates. The Republicans did it right by at least allowing Florida and Mchigan to seat some delegates, but not all of them.
This is what I see is the problem with the Democratic Party from top to bottom:
1). Their version of the caucus system is just plain stupid and two-faced. I watched a live feed on www.CNN.com the night of the Iowa caucus in Des Moines. They focused on a John Edwards supporter that essentially was telling his people to "not be swayed by another camp". This same individual essentially went to other "camps" and did exactly what he told his people NOT to do.
2). Nevada (a delegate rich state) asked the DNC's permission to allow casino workers to caucus at work, if they could not leave work. IMHO, I think this was a valid request, because that's a 24/7/365 business. A week or so before, the largest union in Nevada (the culinary union) supported Barack Obama. Hillary Clinton's campaign tried to mimic Al Gore by suing to have the rule changed prior to the caucus. With the disenfranchisement of Florida and Michigan, Hillary has been hoping that a redux would help her, as she won those states. But, it doesn't look like it's going to happen.
3). Superdelegates are powerful Democratic members (many elected and former elected officials, former Presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton among them) can help sway the nomination process. However, this now poses a problem for the party, because it would virtually mirror the previous general elections (2000 more than 2004) with the exception that it would be at the nomination level. If Obama goes to the convention with both the popular vote and delegates, and Hillary sways the superdelegates to "annoint her", then the party is essentially two-faced. It would essentally wipe out their complaints of the 2000 election, and their accusations of the rigging of Ohio in 2004, because they would re-create both events in one fell swoop.
I openly admit that I am not a Hillary Clinton fan. I left the Republican Party because I felt disenfranchised by it. However, as you can see, I have too many differences with the Democrats to join their ranks. The freedom of being an independant is, I can choose whatever I want without committing and being forced to go the "party line."
The quagmire is the Democratic Party's decision to essentially wipe out Michigan and Florida's seatings was a mistake. Overconfidence by Hillary Clinton's campaign to underestimate Barak Obama, and the attempt to change the rules as the game is still being played that she herself had no issues with months ago. She agreed with the Party to not seat Florida and Michigan if they moved their primaries up. She did not complain about the Nevada caucus rule changes except when she did not get the endorsements she wanted.
Shame on you, Hillary Clinton and Howard Dean.
Familiar words? Yes. Ask the Democrats and Michael Moore.
If it comes to little South Dakota on June 3rd to vote to help decide the nomination, I'll vote Obama out of pure spite. Frankly, she should start coming here to kiss our asses, because we weren't significant enough. She was supposed to have it all wrapped up on Super Tuesday. She wanted to pull a Bush 2000.
I hope that both parties re-examine the entire process after this election. My personal solution would be to keep Iowa and New Hampshire as is, or at least let small states rotate through those slots. Have Super Tuesday be a mix of both delegate rich and poor states, and then have California, Texas, New York, and Florida be Super Tuesday II.
If both parties are so hell-bent on having this done by March, like the last two elections, I'd like to make them truly work for it. I want my voice heard, just like Florida and Michigan want theirs. I feel sorry for those who live in those states, because their voices got circumvented.
All because the Democrats punished them so blanketly, and the governors and officials of those states wanted to break the rules. Nowhere in this was compromise made, before the mess began, nor afterward, it seems (on the Democrat side, at any rate).
Nuff Said. March 01 The Media I Despise (RANT)This pisses me off. This *REALLY* pisses me off.
Essentially, a possible future head of state/reformed playboy in the form of Prince Harry voluntarily joined up with the British military is being sent home after it was leaked that he was fighting on the front lines in Afghanistan willingly. And some dumbass FUCK decided to leak this story. This is two-fold for me.
First, by leaking where The Warrior Prince (which seems to be his now new nickname. MORE POWER TO HIM) was fighting at doesn't bother me except that this kid demanded to fight with his men. From all accounts, the troops he served with say he is brave. To Mr./Mrs. Fucknut who leaked this: were you there? If not, you sir/mad'am are a fucking coward. This kid lost his mother IMHO due to you. Ten and a half years ago, I watched this same MAN stoically walk the streets of London on the March from Buckingham to Westminster Abby. Essentially, that day changed *MY* life, as it was the day that I decided I needed to visit England.
I understand the need to pull him out. However, you made insta-targets for any troops who will extract him a target. I pray that you fucknuts will be SMART and not release what unit he was in. If that was leaked, then I hope you are happy.
My second point is, if he died, if you think the Pat Tillman situation was bad, this would be much worse. And sadly, you in the media would make this more of a circus than your stupid killing of his mother. It took papperazzi for me to actually care about the world. Princess Diana's death woke me up. She meant something to people, even those who aren't British.
That's why this story pisses me off. Here's a man who could possibly one day rule his country, placing himself in harms' way.
Leaking his departure is demoralizing, IMHO.
Thank you, Fucknuts. January 04 Never Judge A Tribute By Its CoverI was out at one of my favorite restaurants tonight eating supper, and saw a story on ABC Nightly News that basically made me say cool. Let me explain.
I'm from a military family, and thankfully, I've not lost anyone I know from the current situations in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Also, of you have read my blog enough, you all know that I am a staunch supporter of our men and women who are placing themselves in harms way.
Well, this story I saw tonight was one that I thought was just awesome. Appearantly, a group of bikers down in Texas have been acting as honor guard for servicemen and women who came home from the war, making the ultimate sacrifice.
A few servicemen who were honor guard at one of the first tributes thought that a biker gang was rolling in to cause trouble during the burial of a soldier. It was then realized that these bikers came to pay their respects.
After awhile, these men were their on their hogs riding in tribute for every soldier that was lost in the area. Not only that, they began to unfurl flags to make a parade route for the funeral procession.
One of the many men who has been doing this was asked why he was doing it. He said that some of them were veterans, some had children in harms way, and many had children who may choose to go and fight.
But above all, they feel that our men and women who are in harms way and make the ultimate sacrifice deserve to be honored. These folks know that the military tribute the fallen in its fashion. These bikers feel that they deserve a tribute from one of the most stereotyped groups in America. Blue jeaned grease monkeys.
Me, I think that is one of the coolest things I have seen in a long time.
I salute these blue collar men for doing this tribute. With all of the news talking about the negative stuff about Iraq, I hope people hear about this story. I personally do not care about anyone's politics, or views on the war, or anything. What I wish is to hear about cool stories like this. I have heard of stories of people actually protesting funerals for our fallen. To those, and I HATE quoting Michael Moore, but:
SHAME ON YOU. Yes, protest the policies if you feel they are wrong, but please, don't make the OTHER mistake of Vietnam: condemning those who are serving, alive or dead. Back then, many were drafted against their will. These men and women are volunteers. For the grace of God, allow their families to mourn in peace.
These men who are paying tribute.
Amen to them, and to those who are in harms way. August 26 The Sum of All Fears(Samuel Jackson rating)Disclaimer: Everything I am about to say is purchaseable in your local bookstore. Read Tom Clancy if you have not, to understand what I am about to discuss. If you are not willing to check my sources, then you are not a friend to me. the novels should be in your local bookstore and library. This is my interperetation of his works. And if you have read them, you know what I mean.
In 1990, I discovered a little movie called The Hunt for Red October. It has one of the coolest all-star casts: Alec Baldwin as the main character Jack Ryan (Gates McFadden from Star Trek: The Next Generation either plays his wife Cathy, or a nanny. I honestly can't tell, since her role is so brief), Sir Sean Connery as Marko Ramius, James Earl Jones as Admiral Greer, Tim Curry as Dr. Petrov, Scott Glenn as Bart Mancuso, Lord, I could go on and on.
Anyway, Tom Clancy was a stockbroker in the 70's and 80's, decided to take a chance to write this book which was based loosely on an actual event concerning the defection of a Soviet nuclear submarine.
Former President Ronald Reagan was quoted as to reading the novel in one sitting during a flight on Air Force One. Hence Mr. Clancy's career was pretty much ensured.
I read the novel soon after I saw the movie, and I was blown away. I bought his second novel, Red Storm Rising, which is the only novel he has written that is not based in the Jack Ryan Universe (whom is his main character and voice throughout his novels).
Here's the kicker folks: I began reading that book on July 31, 1990. Basically, Mr. Clancy wrote the novel as "what if World War III was fought with conventional weapons?"
August 2, 1990, Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait. That scared me, because the first fifty pages of Red Storm Rising described the invasion of the Middle East for oil needs. Terrorists in the region of the former Soviet Union blew up major oil fields that supplied the nation. The Soviets basically felt that they NEEDED to start a war to keep the United States occupied.
By the way, there was a really cool game based on the book (to this day, I felt this novel should have been made into a mini-series).
Mr. Clancy was rather prolific in the 1990's, and one of his novels was called The Sum of All Fears (later made into a movie with Ben Affleck and Morgan Freeman. It was delayed on release after 9-11-01). Ironically, it was published around the time of Saddam's invasion of Kuwait. One of the funniest facts in the book (and again, very uncanny), one character was named Bill Clinton. He wasn't a governor, or president, or even a "I'm going to cigar" type. He was an average joe that probably had two-three lines in the book.
However, the novel is extremely relevant. Jack Ryan (hero of Red October) is the head of the CIA via de-facto reasons. Transition. But, he comes up with an idea after the Palestinians adopt Martin Luthor King's idea of "We shall overcome". It becomes a crisis.
Problem is, the President of the United States is extremely weak. He was elected by Jack's CIA's involvement (Clear and Present Danger), advised by his National Security Advisor. He pissed her off, and she ended up being President Fowler's (as one friend coins it) fuck buddy.
Pres. Fowler is widowed, and is depicted as a very cold character.
Meanwhile, a small unamed organization manages to get a hold of nuclear material (via the Israelis by sudden chance), and find a way to make a nuclear bomb to respond to a really good peace program for the security of Israel. It involves the U.N. with military teeth.
However, one of the bad guys is very smart in physics. One scene Mr. Clancy depicts is having the guy literally seeing the heads of the US, British, and Israeli Intelligence conversing. In Jeruselam. When the bad guys acquire nuclear material, this character simply says:
(paraphrasing) "They say that making a nuclear weapon is hard. That is a lie."
The bad guys end up recruiting those like minded and find a way into the USA with their bomb, use it in a spectacluar way (blowing up the Super Bowl), and the idea was to have the US and the Soviet Union blame each other. Once the truth comes out, the President literally is about to bomb Iran.
However, Mr. Clancy does write an afterthought writeup. And this, is why I have written this. I do not have the exact quote, but God Forbid, if you browse your bookstore, this is chilling:
He basically has a paragraph describing how easily it is to research making a nuclear weapon. He specifically says, if you have the substance (uranium, plutonium). It's out there. Once knowledge is spread, it's there. Materials is the problem.
And the FUCKING UNITED NATIONS IS ALLOWING THIS?!
I'm not a political person by any means, but I am historian. World War III is upon us, people. Fucking Accept it. This is a war to truely end all wars. Idealogues tend to fucking forget us little people. I don't care if it's President Bush, Osama...whatever. STOP USING THE FUCKING WORLD AS YOUR STAGE.
Einstein is right about World War IV: It will be fought with sticks and stones if this shit continues.
July 29 ScaryI've tried to keep myself calm about the whole Israeli-Hezbolluh conflict, but I'm at a breaking point.
Frankly, I really don't care. Except for the fact that I feel that North Korea and Iran are using/conspired to use the situation finish their whole nuclear agenda. Personally, nukes are an abomination we used to end a war. It gripped the world for half a century with the two biggest powers (US and Soviet Union) in a useless and scary cease-fire. I'm pro military, but damn....how much $$ did we, and the Russians waste on keeping each other in check over 50 years?
Now, we have countries like India, Pakistan who want to use nukes to end a conflict in Kashmir. That story dates back to 1998.
Now we have North Korea developing (and launching) missiles, wanting to develop nuclear elements.
Iran's leader, President Mahmoud Amadinejad more or less has declared to annihilate Israel. He's also taunted the U.S.
I am not trying to spark arguements of racial or religious views. Heck, Nazareth (I'm Roman Catholic) was attacked. From what I understand, the population is Muslim. Yet, are Christians fighting? No.
I'm somewhat versed in Middle Eastern history (taught by an Iranian, if you must know), and my professor was very honest. Dr. Bonakdarian said to have an open mind about his culture and religion. Fact is, his final test was to have us write about our thoughts and back them up, based on what we learned from him, and via media. This was back in 1993.
Unfortunately, I dropped out of school and never handed in my thesis. He was disappointed when I dropped out of school, because he liked the idea that I was at least honest and true to my ideas. He didn't agree with some, but he respected my views.
Right now, I wish Kofi, Condoleeza, George, President Amadinejad, and Kim Jong II find a way to end this. But the world is so anti-American, so anti-Israel, I doubt it.
I'm waiting for the next 9-11. This next time, it's not going to be planes. But nukes. Mark my words.
God (and Allah) help us all. July 08 Question!I was perusing my normal morning news stuff at CNN.com, and came across an interesting article.
It was about Dr. Stephen Hawking (one of the most brilliant men to ever live) asking on Yahoo a rather simple question in which members of the service can answer, and ask their own questions for everyone to answer. Rather simple.
Now, I don't want to sign up for Google (yet again, heheh) in order to answer Professor Hawking's question.
So, I've decided to pose the question here, and see how many people would answer it. Incidentally, Paul Hewson (Bono to you normal people) has one up as well. I personally think they're inter-related.
Dr. Stephen Hawking:
"In a world that is in chaos politically, socially, and evironmentally, how can the human race sustain another hundred years?"
Bono:
"What can we do to make poverty history?"
To both of you:
Eliminate greed. Find ways to agree to disagree peacefully.
Brasil is less than one year from being completely independant from the needs of the rest of the world in relation to fuel. Specifically, ethanol as a means to fuel their cars.
Which means it's one less country that won't have to deal with the big oil countries and regions (Middle East, Venezuela, Alaska and Texas) and their politics.
I was speaking to a guy a few weeks ago that is helping to build ethanol plants here in the USA. One is being built in a small town near Mitchell called Loomis.
Here's the basic facts:
1). If you can raise grain or fruit, or even sugarcane, you can make ethanol. Virturally every country can do this in SOME capacity.
2). If you can raise animals, you have an endless supply of fuel. Specifically, manure from the animals.
3). The waste from the ethanol plant makes high-grade feed for the animals, therefore, better meat for we meat eater types. Heh, prolly make sheep stop mowing the lawn too (if you've never seen sheep graze, then you won't understand. They literally will eat the grass to the soil until it's gone. Trust me.)
4). It's great for the environment. It's a clean process all around; from making the fuel to burning it. That'll make Al Gore happy, at least.
5). It would make the oil barons realize that we simply do not need them. It's outrageous for them to clear over 60% of a barrel of oil's real worth just because they can do it. For the head of Exxon to "retire" with over $400 million dollars and say he deserved it is ridiculous to me. Yeah Yeah Yeah, I don't want to hear the "Well I earned it from hard work" crap. I honestly want to know just how much of those millions over the years have you actually just woke up one day and say, "I'm going to walk down the street and just hand out a few thousand bucks to random strangers?" Realistically, that's probably hard to do without getting mobbed or mugged, but it's the idea of being selfless I'm referring to.
#5 pretty much answers Bono's question:
Follow the example of Warren Buffet and give your money to good causes. Heck, I'm no real fan of Bill Gates for various reasons, but I've ALWAYS loved the idea of his Foundation. If I can donate $1 or $10 from time to time to a charity (a lot of times it's the Salvation Army around Christmastime, or for the Angel Tree. Just knowing that some little kid managed to get a dream toy or clothes, or for them to have a nice hot meal makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside), why can't the ones with MILLIONS of dollars be selfless and do the same?
May 27 Some Of My Views On Politics (EXPLICIT)This is more information on the death of Pat Tillman, former NFL player for the Arizona Cardinals. His death in the war on terror is probably the most well-known, considering he was a major sports player who, right after 9-11 (and probably like many; and I will say that I even tried to enlist for a THIRD TIME) left his job to do his duty. How this investigation was handled was utter crap. How many other investigations were screwed up involving the average joe?
I admit that I'm a registered Republican. However, I have an open mind. I also think. I don't vote party line just to vote party line.
I voted for Bush in both 2000, and 2004. Problem in 2000: Al Gore to me was (and still is) just a plain fucking idiot. He's also shown his colors by badmouthing America. I know he's doing it to badmouth Bush, but dammit, the WAY he's doing it is making America look bad.
His running mate, Joeseph Lieberman? I would have voted for him if he was the Presidential candidate in a heartbeat. Why? I like the guy, and many of his views (from the left side of the isle) reflect mine.
2004: Ok, my mom is from the New England area of the country, but even SHE couldn't stand John Kerry. Hell, she reveres both JFK and RFK, but cannot stand Teddy.
John Kerry to me, during the primaries and caucuses actually made sense. Hell, I liked John Edwards. I personally think Howard Dean poisoned the Democratic Party (and still is as their chairman).
All I will say is this: If John McCain makes another run (doesn't matter what party, or him being a GDI (GodDamn Independant for those who don't know), he has my vote. Hell, if he got the nom, and managed to get Joe Lieberman as his running mate, I'd be happy.
If (B) Hillary runs, I'll vote against her. Carpetbaggering bitch. Least you should have done is run in Arkansas instead of New York, C***. (Can you tell I don't like her? I even edited out the least favorite word I know. I have integrity, at least). I honestly WOULD leave the country if SHE became President.
Currently, Prez Bush, buddy, you are screwing up. I just had a friend come back from Iraq (Eric). I have one more there until September. Their unit suffered their first casualty.
I know you're a oil guy, but fuck it. Go ethanol. In a goddamned year, Brasil is going to be 100% ethanol. But noooo...you're married via business ties to the oil companies, and the Middle East.. That's how you fuck over the Arabs. Stop depending on them. If the fucking head of a company gets a retiremen package worth billions for retirement, why not have THAT money be donated to those suffering in the Katrina-hit area? But NOOO, they need that money to "survive'. Corporate AMERICA: FUCK YOU. I put $10 I couldn't afford in a box today for breast cancer research. Why can't *YOU* do that?
Clamp down on ALL of our borders. FUCK IT. SHOOT TO FUCKING KILL ON ANY BORDER RUNNERS *AND* SMUGGLERS!! Why??
They are fucking breaking into my country. THEY ARE CRIMINALS. They are drawing on my FUCKING SOCIAL SECURITY FUND I MIGHT NOT HAVE!!!
If you want cheap labor, have prisonors do it. Have high-school kids do it (they learn character that way, I'd think). There's your FUCKING cheap labor, MR. PRESIDENT, CONGRESS.
I need to play a game to vent off my utter anger now.
Foamy Out. May 26 Big Business, Follow This Man's LeadTrue rags to riches story. Particularly, the man did what he needed to do to keep himself and his son alive.
I plan on seeing this movie, and Will Smith being Will Smith, this will be utterly cool. May 16 One...Two...Three...CRY!All I can say. The illegals don't want the bordered militarilly patrolled. Guess what? I actually hope we begin a shoot first, ask questions later policy. WE DON'T WANT YOU! May 09 Tech Job NewsFox News just had a report about big businesses support immigration.
Microsoft, Cisco, Oracle.
They support the idea that others from other countries bring in new ideas.
